Trevor Ashley is heading back to London.

Liza’s back! (is broken) explores all the great Broadway roles that Minnelli should have played…and Trevor Ashley brings it to Southbank’s Wondergournd.

Trevor Ashley (Australian productions of Les Miserables and Hairspray and director of the acclaimed production of Heathers recently staged at the Hayes Theatre, Sydney) takes us through the opportunities Minnelli should have enjoyed over the last forty years, in one special night.

This new show follows his hit seasons of Liza (on an E) across Australia and Europe and on London’s West End.

Direct from rehab, and with a seven-piece big band, Liza sings Broadway’s greatest hits.

John Bowles, having started his career on Australian variety television at the age of ten, had notched up 300 hours of live national TV by the age of sixteen. As an adult he has gone on to star in many theatrical productions such as ‘Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘Cats’. He has produced, directed and written for television but admits his favourite role is as presenter, and he relishes the opportunity to talk to interesting show business people and tell their stories.
